Most facilitators help you think better. I help you think better about climate

I've produced and facilitated over 100 creative workshops with startups, nonprofits, and Fortune 500 companies. I've lost count now.

I learned the art of facilitation back in 2009 during a 6-month design fellowship.

Since then, it's been a critical part of my creative process.

For the last 10 years, I've been in the trenches with climate startups, nonprofits, and design studios breaking through the specific roadblocks that keep climate solutions stuck.

When I ran The Determined for six years, every client project started with a workshop. We invited decision makers on the client side, key stakeholders, and "makers" (designers to help visualize ideas in real time).

Attendees walked away with clarity, alignment, and a concrete plan to move forward.

Here's what I've learned facilitating workshops in the climate space:

Your climate solution might work, but if nobody understands it, nobody cares.

Three reasons why workshops matter:

  1. Speed: Compress months of back-and-forth into hours of focused work
  2. Alignment: Everyone sees the same problem instead of arguing about different interpretations
  3. Buy-in: People support what they help create, turning critics into co-creators

I offer four ways to engage climate orgs and partners to move ideas off of Post-Its and into a climate positive world:

→ Brand Strategy Sprints for climate startups that need positioning before their next funding round

→ Climate-Forward Design Studio transitions for agencies leaving millions on the table because they don't speak carbon markets or regenerative systems

→ Breaking Through Roadblocks sessions for smart teams paralyzed by complexity

→ Collective Action workshops for initiatives that need movements, not just marketing

Every exercise serves a strategic purpose. If it doesn't move you toward a breakthrough, it's not on the agenda.

If your team is spinning, your positioning is unclear, or you're ready to break patterns, let's talk.
